Management Report Updates

UPDATE 10/2/03
Substantial changes have been made to accommodate running graphs in Lotus 1-2-3 for Windows and the fact that management report exhibits were not included in audit reports in 2002. Also, functions 97 and 99 have been added to the expenditure detail exhibit and the auditor report has been changed to refer to "basic" instead of "general purpose" financial statements for the new reporting model. The AuditWare Engine must also be updated. AuditWare utilities must be updated if you will be creating installation diskettes or CDs. The installation/update procedure has been changed to handle an initial installation of the management report on a computer. Also, a new "input" file is now automatically supplied for new clients (those which have not had a management report in the past).

For your laptops with no floppy disk drives, I suggest you download and update a desktop computer (management report, engine and utilities). Then select "Tools seldom used" from the "Use AuditWare Tools" menu, then "Prepare files to make a CD-ROM install disk." You will need a "CDCopy" folder on your C drive with at least one file in it (any file will do) before you do so. Burn the files in the CDCopy folder to the CD, not the folder itself.

A column width has been increased in the cash graph, the version when there is no debt service fund, to make sufficient room for the exhibit letter and number to print.

Version 9/19/01, uploaded 9/20/01 AM, changes the letter on additional information to use sole proprietor pronouns. The AuditWare Engine was also updated (without changing the 9/17/01 version date) to make the command "Make an install disk from MRFILES.EXE functional. Thanks to Lucas Janda for suggesting that the version date and a description of the changes be added here.
