Downloading AuditWare Program Files
You must already be an AuditWare user and have paid your annual renewal fee for the product being downloaded before the files can be utilized.
Where To Download
Download to your C:\AW\DOWNLOAD folder. Downloads to the DOWNLOAD
folder are automatically installed by AuditWare. If downloading to a computer on
which AuditWare is not installed, use a temporary folder, diskette or other
storage device; then copy the file(s) to the C:\AW\DOWNLOAD folder of the computer
you want to update.
General Information
The download for the AuditWare Engine contains the files which are common to all products.
Since this constitutes about 80% of the total program and is the "brains" that
runs all products, it is updated more frequently than the Utilities or the individual
products. The AuditWare Utilities are also common to all products but change
less frequently. The download for each product (AuditWare for
Local Governments, Audit I.S.D. for Texas School Districts, AuditWare for
California School Districts, etc.) contains only the files which are specific to that
product. Often, changes in products require download of the AuditWare engine as
well.

Please call us at (800) 688-2333 if you have any trouble with this process, or if you would just like some "hand holding" the first time you try it.

2008 TEA Sample Audit Report Template As Of 9/24/09 (Excel File)
The Excel workbook file above is the closest thing to a sample audit report the TEA plans to provide this year. It provides examples of financial statements and schedules with no dollar amounts, the required special TEA schedules (see the "J" exhibits), but no notes or auditor reports. To download, it may be necessary for you to right-click on the link above and select "Save Target As" to keep it from opening on the web site. After downloading and opening in Excel, click on the tabs at the bottom of the screen to see the various exhibits.
